Adjua McNeil is a communications scientist and educational psychologist with more than two decades of experience in language and literacy education.  She specializes in creating tools and systems that support culturally and linguistically diverse students through curriculum development, program development and management, and staff development and training. After spending the early years of her career as an instructor and clinician, Adjua decided to increase the scale of her impact by combining her background in linguistics and communication disorders and her commitment to social justice and work directly to change systems. Since then, she has collaborated with institutions and agencies like Educational Testing Services, City of Philadelphia’s Office of Adult Education, and Fresno Unified School District to provide learners of all ages with cutting edge materials, well trained teachers, and delivery systems that are responsive to their needs. Born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia, she spends much of her spare time making her hometown a greener, healthier place to raise her family.
